Thoracic Ultrasound

Ultrasound-guided assessment and sampling of mediastinal and thoracic masses is commonly indicated for mediastinal or solid lung masses. Thoracic ultrasound is also extremely useful in aiding placement of catheters for therapeutic drainage pericardial effusions.
